A Senior Test Engineer II is needed by a global medical device company and an industry leader in new product development and medical education in orthopaedics. Our client continues to see unprecedented growth and consistent demand for their products throughout the world. The right candidate will be able to assist our client in its growing operations.
This is an intricate hire to the team as the Sr. Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for presenting innovate test processes and methodology improvements from an end-to-end test perspective. They will also play a key role in participating in the ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure test automation is promoted and applied effectively.
The Test Engineer II will have the following responsibilities:
- Create test and diagnostics programs, design test fixtures and complete validation specifications and procedures for new and existing products
- Identify a design automated testing systems and fixtures for production board level and system level testing
- Analyze test results using statistical methods in relations to specifications and test objectives
- Develop new methods to identify electrical final test while working with Mechanical Engineers to develop equipment and software to support manufacturing
- Document test plans and instructions
- Use engineering principals to solve technical problems
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related subject
- Preferred experience with CV, Altium, LabView, Visual Basic, Python, Java, Lenox
- Strong knowledge developing automated testing solutions
- Experience working with camera systems including optics, electronic design, electro-mechanical design, and high speed digital circuits
