Title: Senior Production Planner
Summary: A leading Medical Device company is looking to bring on a Senior Production Planner to their team in the Chicago area. With an annual revenue of over $500M, this client manufactures multiple ENT devices and solutions for health care professionals across the world. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the forecast and production schedules.
The Sr. Production Planner's Responsibilities:
- Maintain the materials plan and control schedule to support on-time delivery metrics
- Analyze customer forecasts for capacity and material availability
- Prepare reports on safety stock and delivery performance with the Operations and Manufacturing teams
- Interface daily with the Operations team to ensure the availability of the product
- Analyze OTD variances, root causes, cost reduction, and process improvements
- Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance regarding scheduling requirements
The Sr. Production Planners Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Planning or related field
- 5+ years of experience with ERP Systems and Excel
- Strong analytic and communication skills
