Having outperformed the rest of the Automotive market over the last 2 years, this tier-1 supplier has ambitious targets to continue increasing their market share of the top OEMs. Investing strongly in their product differentiation to achieve this, they are ramping up the integration of e-components/ECUs to their product offerings across their BUs. Considering their Metals/Plastics focussed supply-chain, they are currently searching for a new quality professional who will play a significant role in developing their electronics supplier base.
The role:
- Support the growth of the electronics supply base, across the supplier evaluation and selection process
- Implementation of quality improvement projects with electronics suppliers
- Monitoring of Supplier KPIs throughout ramp-up phase and serial production
- Supporting Run @ Rate audits
- Track escalation issues and implementation of corrective action plans
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Strong experience/knowledge working with Electronic commodities
- Experience within the automotive industry would be a benefit
- Knowledge of process auditing (in accordance with VDA 6.3)
- Good communication skills, for both internal and external negotiation
- Willingness to travel internationally
