Supply Chain Manager required for Leading Pharmaceutical Firm

The Supply Chain Manager will be instrumental in the E2E the Supply Chain organization through supporting procurement, inventory, logistics, and planning teams and working closely alongside Contact Manufacturing teams. The Supply Chain Manager will develop and implement key strategic initiatives across the Supply Chain by leading cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across demand, supply, inventory and production plans.
The Supply Chain Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO)
- Act as primary Point of Contact (POC) for the CMO and rectify issues with Supply levels that could disrupt commercial plans
- Manage the Supply Planning, Inventory, Production Planning & S&OP functions across the division
- Develop production plans which support customer demand requirements
- Ensure alignment of demand, inventory, supply, & finished goods forecasts and plans; communicate said plans to CMO
- Resolve customer delivery discrepancies and amend production schedule priorities accordingly
- Develop, implement and uphold strategic initiatives to ensure long-term goals are met
- Provide both short- and long-term production plans to appropriate parties to be used for capacity analysis
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing teams to ensure alignment of all forecasts
- Establish and maintain target inventory levels by collaborating with S&OP, Demand, Production, and Inventory Teams
- Maintain a comprehensive inventory system and strategy related to the receipt, storage and distribution of materials in compliance with regulatory standards
- Generate reports to be presented to Senior Leadership during S&OP meetings
- Manage supplier relationships
- Design, develop and execute distribution instructions across the organization
- Prepare SOPs for CMOs to guarantee compliance with industry regulations and standards
The ideal Supply Chain Manager candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field required; Master's Degree Preferred
- 5+ years' Supply Chain, Planning/Scheduling, Material Control, Logistics, etc. within a heavily regulated environment
- Experience managing CMO relationships strongly preferred, but not required
- Leadership or supervisory experience a plus
- ERP and MRP experience required
- Superior analytical skills with an outstanding attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with local and international counterparts
