Title: Supply Chain Manager
A Global Renewable Energy organization that focuses on Clean Water Initiatives and Waste Water Treatments is seeking its first Supply Chain professional presence in the US right here in the Greater Boston area. This organization is the provider and developer of cleantech water projects for advanced water and wastewater treatments around the world.
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage overall Supply Chain and Logistics operations to maximize efficiency and minimize cost of the organization's Supply Chain function. You will collaborate with multiple-functional managers to plan and execute on the development of a distribution center operational process to enable seamless transfers.
Supply Chain Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proactively and continuously work to establish an ever-increasing vendor resource pool.
- Proactively and continuously work to negotiate reduced price purchasing agreements with vendors across all standard product lines.
- Proactively and continuously seek to locate and vet integration and fabrication vendor resources both domestically and internationally (India).
- Proactively and continuously seek to locate and vet finished OEM goods vendor resources both domestically and internationally (India).
- Assume management of Bid Tabs and Levelling Sheets
- Draft and maintain vendor subcontract agreement templates and MSA's
- Own schedule and CAPEX budget
Necessary Skills/Experience/Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree; Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in Operations/Supply Chain and Procurement.
- MBA degree preferred.
- APICS or ISM certification preferred.
- Experience with material planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic
- Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, Quickbooks and Internet.
- Some travel maybe required [15%]
- Wastewater, Chemical Processing and/or Oil/Gas systems experience required
