A rapidly expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing company focused on developing safe and effective cancer treatments is looking to build out a new operations team, including a Supply Chain Manager!
This manager will report directly into the Senior Director of Program Management and play a crucial role in building and assisting the brand new team at a new state of the art facility by supervising products from development to the final shipment. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with multiple teams and communicate long-term plans to top management frequently allowing for greater exposure.
The Supply Chain Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Work to reduce costs by collaborating with the Materials Management team to develop and implement strategies in a GMP facility.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships and collaborate with the Quality team to ensure specific qualifications are met.
- Present to top management to ensure a smooth flow of goods and services that could impact production.
- Monitor and plan staffing levels and proper labor utilization within the facility.
- Devise risk mitigating procedures for potential product shortages.
- Manage spending operations to ensure timeliness of deliveries and improvements to the quality of the life-saving products.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience within the supply chain field
- Experience in a heavy regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotech, or oil and gas
- Strong understanding of the supply chain process from end to end
- Functional knowledge in cGMPS or FDA regulations
- Experience using an ERP system and Microsoft office
