General Summary
The Vice President of Manufacturing is a strategic position at the executive level which reports to the chief operating officer. This individual will be responsible for the company's overall operating, and manufacturing activities over 15+ facilities. This includes revenue growth, expense, cost and margin control, and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management. Leadership duties may be added or subtracted from the current list as business needs dictate.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for managing, developing, and leading all Director's of Manufacturing.
- Responsible for maintaining compliance with safety rules, SOP's in accordance with all company and outside regulatory policies and rules.
- Provides operations expertise and representation on cross functional business team.
- Contribute and deliver against short- and medium-term business plans.
- Drive requirement gathering efforts and provide input to new technical solutions, processes, or business plans.
- Self-motivated with a bias towards action and meeting objectives.
- Communicate and Influence senior business partners.
- Manage vendor relationships and communications regarding operations, programs, and processes.
- Explain policies, practices, and procedures of a business process or technical solution to cross-functional teams.
- Regularly work with senior stakeholders across the company to agree and accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
- Provide a sustainable approach to the selection of Copackers, the startup of new items at Copackers and the maintenance of ongoing Copacker relationships.
- You will ensure compliance to all aspects of Copacker contracts including cost reduction processes, capacity and ensuring the Contract Manufacturers exceed standards developed and audited by Copacker Quality Assurance, Finance and other departments
