General Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations (1st Shift). These operations include receiving , inventory control, and distribution. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multishift departments
- Work with department leaders to manage weekly cycle count and annual physical inventory activities
- Manage 3PL warehouse inventory, inbound and outbound shipments
- Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe
- Ensure all inbound materials purchase orders are received accurately and that errors are identified and resolved timely
- Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes
- Adhere to regulatory compliance policies, quality control practices, OSHA and other government and company regulations and policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, logistics or related field
- 5 years' of warehouse experience
- Proven inventory control/WMS skills
- Solid computer skills: Microsoft Office and ERP software (Oracle or similar)
