We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Director to join our client, one of the leading logistics companies based in Pratteln. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record within the industry and possess strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
As an Operations Director for this company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operational management including procurement, planning, implementation and delivery processes. You should also demonstrate expert knowledge on freight forwarding concepts as well as being able to provide innovative solutions that meet both customer needs while ensuring profitability.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in Business Administration
- Minimum 10 years' experience working with supply chain operations/ freight forwarding operations
- Proven success managing teams across multiple locations
- Strong project management capabilities along with solid analytical abilities,
-Familiarity with DSJ Global recruitment methods would be advantageous;
-Knowledge about Swiss regulations
