Senior Electrical Technician - All Shifts Available
Location: Summit, IL
Pay Rate: $47.30/hour + Overtime + Full Benefits

A leading global food manufacturer is seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to support its high-speed packaging operations and expanding automation infrastructure at its Summit, IL facility. What You'll Do:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex manufacturing and support equipment
• Focus on control systems, servo drives, motors, and high-speed packaging lines
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor equipment performance
• Work with pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, Allen Bradley PLCs, RSLinx, and process instrumentation
• Read and update schematics, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute maintenance plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, EPA, and internal standards
• Identify and drive process improvements and support special projects

What You'll Need:

• Associate's/Bachelor's degree, certification, or HS diploma with 2-3 years of electro-mechanical experience
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, pneumatic systems, 3-phase circuits, and packaging automation
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems
• Proficient computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk extensively in a large facility
