Scope: Asia Pacific

Responsibilities:

  • Lead external sales initiatives focused on acquiring new customers in Malaysia and across the Asia Pacific region, with a strong emphasis on airfreight and time-critical logistics solutions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the semiconductor and high-tech sectors, understanding their unique supply chain demands.
  • Design and promote specialized express and high-performance airfreight products tailored to time-sensitive and high-value shipments.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with airlines, logistics partners, and strategic clients in the high-tech industry.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence and market intelligence.
  • Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to guide strategic planning and product development.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to launch new services, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies and continuously optimize performance.
  • Support additional strategic initiatives and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in outside sales within freight forwarding, air cargo, or logistics, with a strong focus on airfreight and time-critical shipments.
  • Proven track record working with or selling into the semiconductor and high-tech industries, with a deep understanding of their logistics challenges and expectations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in client acquisition and building sustainable partnerships in fast-paced, high-value environments.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and thrive in a dynamic, performance-driven setting.
  • High emotional intelligence and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
