Role Overview

As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth in the Pharma & Health-care vertical across either Northern or Southern France (depending on the candidate). You will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and expand this client's footprint in this highly regulated and fast-growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy focused on the health-care, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities, leveraging this client's global network and specialised solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, and health-care providers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, compliance, customer service) to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
  • Represent this client at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain, specifically in the health-care, pharma, or life sciences vertical.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of GDP, GxP, and other regulatory requirements in health-care logistics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally.
