Demand Planning Analyst
Summary:
A leading manufacturer of specialty CPG and foodservice products is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst to support its supply chain operations. This role is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, collaborating across departments, and driving improvements in forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop statistical forecasts using historical data, market trends, and other relevant inputs.
- Conduct analysis to identify and correct forecast variances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus forecasts.
- Perform analysis & reporting using tools such as Power BI, ERP systems, and Salesforce.
- Utilize statistical forecasting software (e.g., Forecast Pro) to maintain forecasts.
- Coordinate closely with supply planning to support S&OP processes.
- Prepare materials for new item forecasting and maintain demand planning processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in demand planning or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and forecasting tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and S&OP processes preferred.
