Director of Engineering
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering to lead and grow our engineering organization. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing complex engineering programs and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team across multiple disciplines.
Product Development
- Oversee the design, development, and launch of new products from concept through commercialization.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Operational Excellence
- Implement best practices in engineering processes, including design reviews, testing, and validation.
- Drive efficiency through process improvements, cost optimization, and resource planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to deliver innovative solutions.
- Serve as a technical advisor to senior leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven success in managing large-scale product development programs.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
