Director of Utilities
This role will be overseeing diverse operational functions within a structured and compliance-oriented environment. This position is responsible for guiding teams across multiple service areas, ensuring systems and processes run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with organizational standards and goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership across maintenance & utilities.
- Ensure timely and compliant execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and foster professional development across the department.
- Coordinate planned facility shutdowns to support maintenance and engineering projects.
- Maintain documentation practices in accordance with regulatory and internal SOP standards.
- Drive process enhancements and equipment reliability to support operational excellence.
- Ensure readiness and compliance of regulated systems and equipment.
- Provide on-call support for urgent operational needs and issue resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned by executive leadership.
Experience Needed:
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership in maintenance, metrology, and technical operations.
- Familiarity with PLCs and distributed control systems is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance in active production settings.
