DMS Support Supervisor

A leading home improvement retailer is seeking a bilingual Data Operations Supervisor to oversee data integrity, system accuracy, and operational efficiency within a high-volume distribution center. This role plays a vital part in supporting warehouse operations through effective data management, team leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership capabilities, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced retail logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of data operations associates, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Drive a culture of safety and compliance by enforcing daily safety protocols and supporting HR-related matters such as attendance, pay, and workplace accommodations.
  • Conduct regular audits of item dimensions, location utilization, and system data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies, collaborating with planning teams to address product allocation and slotting issues.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of item data in warehouse systems, including vendor item changes and packaging updates.
  • Lead re-slotting initiatives and space optimization projects to support inbound and outbound operations.
  • Perform quarterly system access audits and ensure data security and compliance with internal controls.
  • Communicate business objectives, system updates, and performance expectations clearly to associates.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members, while providing ongoing development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, resolving conflicts and promoting team engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field OR 4+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Proven leadership experience with direct report responsibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching team members to support career growth.
