Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting food & beverage manufacturing operations across the Netherlands and Belgium. This hybrid role offers flexibility while engaging in hands-on engineering work to optimize equipment performance, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, specify, and implement equipment solutions for food & beverage production lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment meets safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for equipment failures and inefficiencies.
- Support commissioning, validation, and maintenance planning of new and existing machinery.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to manage equipment procurement and upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in equipment design, maintenance, or reliability engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with lean manufacturing or TPM principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally across sites in the Netherlands and Belgium.
