Location: Dallas/Ft Worth Area (Hybrid 4x in office/week)
Salary: $150-160,000 base + bonus
A leading food manufacturer in the Dallas/Ft Worth area is looking to add an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to their growing Procurement team. This position will be responsible for all categories of indirect spend including professional services, facilities, MRO, capital equipment, logistics, and others. They will support all areas of business from Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance, Accounting, IT, etc. The ideal candidate is a skilled vendor manager, responsible for the end-to-end procurement process from budget analysis and sourcing new vendors to negotiating contracts and supplier relationship management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support procurement for all indirect categories (professional services, facilities, MRO, capital equipment, logistics, travel, insurance, transportation & warehousing).
- Support stakeholders across the business on indirect spend needs including Marketing, HR, Legal, Finance, Accounting, IT, etc.
- Marketing materials include
- Manage $100M+ in spend.
- Develop strategic category plans.
- Drive cost savings to increase profit margin while minimizing risk to company.
- Evaluate proposals and source suppliers based on a variety of factors and negotiate competitive pricing. Conduct continuous evaluations of current suppliers and manage relationships.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance data.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain or related field
- 5+ years of procurement experience at the management level.
- Food/bev or CPG experience preferred.
- Ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders.
- In depth knowledge of indirect procurement and category management strategy including sourcing, negotiating and supplier management.
- Analytical skills and financial acumen.
- ERP systems experience.
- Able to travel up to 30%
