About the Role:
We are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join our team at a leading manufacturing plant in the Paper & Pulp industry. This role is critical in driving workforce capability and operational excellence by delivering engaging training programs for machine operators and other hourly employees on the plant floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs focused on safety, equipment operation, and process efficiency.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for machine operators and production staff.
- Partner with plant leadership to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Support onboarding for new hires and continuous development for existing employees.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements for maximum impact.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Learning & Development or Training within a manufacturing environment (Paper & Pulp experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of plant floor operations and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with operations teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
