Our client is a leading global company specialising in nutrition, committed to providing high-quality products that support families worldwide. Their state-of-the-art facility is looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations.
Role Overview:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all maintenance activities, ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment and facilities. You'll lead a team of technicians, focusing on minimising downtime, optimising maintenance strategies, and ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management: Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to keep equipment running smoothly. Analyse performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of technicians. Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence while ensuring the team adheres to best practices and safety standards.
Safety & Compliance: Act as a role model for safety, ensuring all operations comply with food safety, health, and environmental regulations. Conduct safety audits and address risks proactively.
Reliability Engineering: Apply reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) practices, perform root cause analysis (RCA) for failures, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Utility & Store Management: Oversee plant utilities (e.g., electricity, water, HVAC) and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and minimise excess stock.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and reliability management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, utility systems, and inventory management.
Familiarity with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP) and environmental standards is a plus.
