Maintenance Manager
Our client is nseeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead all aspects of maintenance and reliability within a high-speed, automated manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for developing and leading a team, driving preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and ensuring optimal equipment uptime while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The position sits on the plant leadership team and plays a key role in continuous improvement, cost control, and operational performance.
Top Must-Haves
- 5+ years manufacturing maintenance experience
- Injection or blow molding experience (critical)
- 3+ years leadership experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Strong CMMS ownership and utilization
- Experience in GMP/FDA/SQF regulated environment
Strong Preferences
- Beverage / liquid manufacturing background
- Equipment experience with:
- Fillers, labelers, palletizers, conveyors
- Packaging systems (tray, debagging, etc.)
- Krones equipment is a plus
- Exposure to budgeting + financials
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop maintenance team (safety, quality, productivity)
- Drive preventive & corrective maintenance strategy through CMMS
- Improve equipment reliability + reduce downtime
- Oversee facility + equipment maintenance (including contractors)
- Support hiring, training, discipline, and payroll review
- Participate in budget planning + financial reviews
- Ensure compliance with LOTO, arc flash, and safety standards
