Shift: 2nd Shift (Initial training on 1st Shift)
Compensation: $31.59 - $48.41/hour (based on experience, role, and location)

Position Overview
A leading manufacturing facility in Bedford Park is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and performance of production equipment and plant systems. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of both electrical and mechanical systems. A strong electrical background is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, control circuits, and related equipment.
- Apply NFPA 70E standards to ensure electrical safety in all work.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical systems (e.g., belts, filters, bearings, seals).
- Calibrate and repair pneumatic and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate computer-based systems to monitor and control equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and scheduled procedures.
- Utilize maintenance software to manage work orders and inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience with PLC systems, blueprint reading, pneumatics, hydraulics, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Basic computer proficiency for maintenance systems and documentation.
- Boiler license is a plus (or willingness to obtain one).
