A global leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance devices for military and civilian aircraft is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer position in Morris County, New Jersey. There are looking for an innovative Engineer with deep experience and aerospace and defense to join their team that can deliver life-saving solutions.

Position Summary:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming innovative aerospace designs into reliable, high-performance products. You'll develop and optimize production processes, work instructions, and build documentation while ensuring manufacturability and continuous improvement across all product lines, including overhaul and repair. This position involves coordinating the acquisition of tooling and equipment, establishing production standards, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to maintain operational excellence. You will review engineering drawings, manage engineering change orders, and oversee acceptance testing to verify product performance and test accuracy. Additionally, you will create manufacturing bills of material, perform developmental and qualification testing on new products, and prepare detailed test plans and reports. Your work will also include conducting audits and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and quality throughout the manufacturing life cycle.

Qualifications:

  • S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 2-5 years in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD (Creo or equivalent) and GD&T standards.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Preferred:

  • Experience with electronics or electric/hydraulic motors.
  • Background in aerospace or military equipment.
