Your Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the pharmaceutical packaging area (primary and secondary packaging) in a GMP-regulated environment
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of shift supervisors in a 3-shift system, as well as indirect leadership of line managers
- Management and continuous optimisation of all packaging processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (GMP, AMG, AMWHV, EU-GMP guidelines)
- Ensuring timely and quality-compliant order processing, including order preparation, material provision, line clearance, and documentation processes
- Responsibility for meeting all production-related KPIs (OEE, output, first-time-right, downtime, scrap rates)
- Implementation and further development of a structured shop floor management system for daily control and communication in the production area
- Close collaboration with Quality Assurance on deviation reports, CAPA measures, validations, and audits
- Technical coordination of pharmaceutical engineering responsible for setup processes, preventive maintenance, and repairs
- After onboarding, organisational integration of pharmaceutical engineering into your area of responsibility
- Active participation in OPEX, Lean, and efficiency projects to continuously improve productivity, quality, and equipment availability
- After successful onboarding: assumption of the legal function as Head of Manufacturing (§12 AMWHV) for the assigned production area
- Responsibility for manufacturing, testing, release, and documentation in accordance with pharmaceutical regulations
Your Profile
- Completed degree in natural sciences, technical or engineering disciplines (e.g., pharmaceutical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering) or equivalent qualification (e.g., master craftsman)
- Experience in pharmaceutical packaging (primary and secondary packaging)
- Comprehensive knowledge of GMP and AMWHV requirements, as well as experience with inspections, audits, and regulatory documentation
- Leadership experience in multi-shift operations and proven ability in employee management, motivation, and development
- Technical understanding of pharmaceutical packaging and line equipment, setup processes, and preventive maintenance
- Experience in KPI-driven management and process/efficiency improvement (Lean, OPEX)
- Structured, analytical working style with strong decision-making and implementation skills
- Excellent German language skills, good English skills desirable
- Willingness to assume the responsible function according to §12 AMWHV after onboarding (mandatory requirement)
