Job Title: Plant Manager

Position Summary:

The Plant Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, production, and cost performance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive continuous improvement, develop high-performing teams, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Oversee production processes, with a strong emphasis on blow molding operations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, sanitation standards, and FDA/SQF requirements.
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and capital equipment planning.
• Hire, train, and develop plant personnel; conduct performance evaluations and manage team structure.
• Maintain facility security, equipment maintenance, and inventory control systems.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet delivery timelines.
• Implement quality assurance systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and financial reviews.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in beverage, food, or liquid consumer products.
• Proven experience in blow molding production environments.
• Strong background in maintenance and equipment (e.g., fillers, labelers, palletizers, conveyors).
• Previous supervisory experience with excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and manufacturing software systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple shifts.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with sanitation protocols and developing cleaning procedures.
• Financial acumen with the ability to analyze metrics and capital projects.
• Familiarity with HACCP, FSMA, GFSI standards.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
