Position Title: Procurement Manager
Reports To: Senior Procurement Director


Position Overview

The Procurement Manager plays a key role in supporting manufacturing, packaging, and distribution operations. This position is responsible for ensuring stable processes, consistent product quality, and timely delivery to customers.

The role involves direct interaction with suppliers and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams such as supply chain, planning, customer service, and sales. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in procurement, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships
  • Manage procurement activities across a portfolio of commodities
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
  • Conduct pricing analysis and support negotiation efforts
  • Monitor market trends and forecast cost impacts
  • Communicate pricing changes and implications to internal stakeholders
  • Oversee supplier onboarding and compliance processes
  • Track supplier performance and lead regular reviews
  • Review and assess supplier contracts
  • Collaborate with internal teams on inventory and quality strategies
  • Resolve pricing discrepancies and approve invoices as needed
  • Conduct risk assessments for supplier agreements
  • Lead strategic procurement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate supplier and pricing data in internal systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or procurement
  • Foundational knowledge of sourcing and supplier management
  • Experience with commodity markets and pricing strategies
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Effective leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • On-site presence required with some flexibility for remote work
  • Proficiency in contract review and negotiation

Preferred Experience

  • Background in procuring food-related commodities such as grains, sweeteners, spices, oils, fruits, and nuts
