Product Lifecycle Manager
Position Summary
The Engineering Lifecycle Systems Manager will be responsible for the strategic implementation, integration, and administration of enterprise systems including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This role requires a blend of technical infrastructure expertise and engineering process acumen to support product development, ensure data integrity, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator for PLM, PDM, ERP, and MES platforms
- Define system architecture and integration strategies across enterprise applications
- Oversee system upgrades, configuration management, and performance optimization
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and standard operating procedures
- Provide guidance on engineering change request (ECR) processes and release workflows
- Manage CAD Bill of Materials (BOM) to Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) translation processes
- Support manufacturing and production control workflows
- Establish and maintain the strategic roadmap for engineering systems and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Systems, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Duro, Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia)
- Hands-on experience with ERP and MES platforms (e.g., ION or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in engineering change management and process development
- Strong understanding of CAD data management, BOM structures, new product introduction (NPI), and manufacturing/supply chain operations
- Experience in the production of electro-mechanical products and systems
