The Role:
They are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of shipbuilding projects. This is a pivotal role that ensures projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget-while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for new builds, retrofits, and repairs.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and quality teams.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of project management experience in shipbuilding or ship repair.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- PMP certification is a plus.
