About the Role
This role supports the successful execution of strategic site development initiatives by ensuring that all quality and food safety requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. Acting as a key interface between operational teams and quality assurance, the position ensures that new installations, upgrades, and process changes align with internal standards and industry regulations.
Responsibilities Overview
- Act as the quality assurance liaison for all major site projects
- Integrate food safety principles into project planning, execution, and final validation
- Participate in cross-functional project teams and advise on hygiene and compliance matters
- Monitor critical project phases to mitigate risks related to product safety
- Identify and address gaps in compliance, working with teams to implement corrective actions
- Support documentation, training, and communication efforts related to quality standards
- Lead or contribute to investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze trends and performance indicators to guide quality-related decisions
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure audit readiness
- Share learnings and best practices across teams and regions
Your Profile
- Academic background in science, engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in quality assurance within the food sector
- Strong understanding of food safety systems and audit frameworks
- Project coordination experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Analytical mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in dynamic settings and managing multiple priorities
- Proactive, structured, and committed to high standards
