QC Manager (Textiles)
On behalf of a major international retail MNC, we are looking for a:
QC Manager (textiles and garments)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for fabrics, raw materials, and finished garments.
- Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team of inspectors and administrative workers (on-site and in the field).
- Establish inspection and audit protocols for all stages of the manufacturing process (from raw materials to finished product).
- Oversee AQL inspections, lab testing, and defect analysis.
- Resolve critical non-conformities in coordination with production, design, and logistics teams.
- Define and track quality KPIs, driving performance and continuous improvement.
- Organize technical training for QC and operational staff.
- Serve as the main point of contact for international clients regarding quality issues.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Apparel Production or related field.
- Language: fluency in both English and Mandarin.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality control within the textile and apparel industry.
- At least 3 years managing large teams (15+ people), ideally in multicultural or Asiabased environments.
- Proven experience in garment inspection, fabric evaluation, and manufacturing quality control.
- Familiarity with fast-paced work environments.
Technical Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of fabrics (woven, knit, synthetic, natural), dyeing, printing, and finishing processes.
- Strong command of international quality standards (ISO, AQL, OEKO-TEX, etc.)
