About the Role:

We're seeking a Quality Manager to lead all aspects of our quality control and assurance programs in a manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of quality systems, inspections, and process improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the quality department and ensure consistent product quality from raw materials to finished goods

  • Oversee daily QC/QA activities including inspections, testing, and documentation

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances

  • Monitor and report on quality KPIs such as defect rates, first-pass yield, and customer returns

  • Maintain and continuously improve quality systems, SOPs, and compliance documentation

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to address quality concerns and drive improvements

  • Lead internal audits and manage external audits from customers and regulatory agencies

  • Train and support quality technicians and production teams on quality standards and procedures

  • Interface with customers on quality-related issues, investigations, and reporting


Qualifications:

✅ 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
✅ 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role in quality
✅ Strong knowledge of inspection methods, measurement tools, and quality documentation
✅ Familiar with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar
✅ Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA) processes
✅ Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or QMS systems is a plus
✅ Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive mindset


Preferred:

  • Quality certifications (CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, etc.)

  • Familiarity with customer-specific requirements and industry regulations (e.g., automotive, food, medical)

  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and process capability studies

  • Auditing experience (internal or supplier audits)
