This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys leading cross-functional teams to bring new food products to life-from initial concept through full-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full product development cycle, from idea generation to market launch.
  • Lead the creation and testing of new baked goods, ensuring quality and feasibility.
  • Collaborate with departments like Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure successful product outcomes.
  • Guide teams and stakeholders through project execution with a results-driven approach.
  • Support production by optimizing processes and solving manufacturing challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records for formulations, specifications, and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay informed on market trends, new ingredients, and packaging innovations.

What You'll Need:

  • 8-10 years of experience in food product development and project management, preferably in the bakery or industrial baking space.
  • A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, sensory testing, and food processing.
  • Proven leadership in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, labeling, and food safety standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and R&D software tools like Genesis.
