Regional Electrical Engineer (M/F/D)
We are currently partnering with a global organisation to find a regional electrical engineer to join their EMEA Reliability Technical Centre. This is a strategic role focused on driving transformational improvements in plant safety, compliance, reliability, and efficiency across multiple sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety and environmental regulations, and best practices across EMEA sites.
- Conduct technical assessments to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, supporting local teams in closing gaps.
- Develop and implement best-in-class preventive and predictive maintenance practices for E&I assets.
- Align capital and operational budgets for electrical maintenance with strategic goals.
- Define and manage a critical spare parts strategy.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting, maintaining close collaboration with E&I site leaders.
- Lead the development of a reliability strategy tailored to business needs.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications and maintenance manuals.
- Collaborate with plant E&I teams to optimize resources and drive cost efficiencies.
- Evaluate team capabilities and support targeted technical training initiatives.
- Define and monitor E&I KPIs to support operational goals and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Use downtime and cost data to prioritize reliability and efficiency improvements.
- Support turnaround planning and execution with technical expertise.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects, building strong business cases with site teams.
- Advise on E&I system design and vendor selection in collaboration with procurement and technology teams.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate E&I assets into broader system designs (Capex, Automation, etc.).
- Conduct research to explore new technologies and enhance performance.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within Oil & Gas or Food sectors.
- Strong understanding of E&I infrastructure compliance (IEC, VDE).
- Proven expertise in predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Solid project management and resource planning skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages (German, Dutch, French) are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead remote, multicultural teams.
- Comfortable presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Adaptable to evolving technologies and business environments.
