Reliability Engineering Manager
Seeking a strategic and technically proficient Reliability Engineering Manager to lead reliability initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for improving asset performance, reducing downtime, and ensuring the mechanical integrity of critical equipment including furnaces, compressors, heat exchangers, pumps, and pressure vessels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reliability engineering, proven leadership experience, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in a complex industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing reliability engineering team focused on optimizing equipment performance and lifecycle.
- Implement and manage reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies and predictive maintenance programs.
- Conduct and oversee root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and plant availability.
- Utilize reliability tools and methodologies such as FMEA, Weibull analysis, and asset criticality assessments.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical integrity standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA).
- Monitor and report on reliability KPIs and use data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support capital projects and equipment upgrades from a reliability perspective.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in reliability or maintenance engineering within manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of rotating and static equipment such as pumps, compressors, exchangers, and pressure vessels.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency in reliability software and tools; experience with CMMS systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMRP, PE) are advantageous.
