Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead and expand our pharmaceutical logistics vertical. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 5+ years in freight forwarding and 5+ years in pharma logistics, particularly within the life sciences sector. You will manage key accounts while driving strategic growth through new business development across the Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management:
    • Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
    • Ensure service excellence and compliance with GDP and other regulatory standards.
  • New Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharma and healthcare industries.
    • Develop tailored logistics solutions to meet client-specific needs.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with global objectives.
    • Collaborate with regional and global teams to leverage cross-border capabilities.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
    • Provide insights to inform product development and service enhancements.
  • Reporting & Forecasting:
    • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
    • Use CRM tools to track activity and progress.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 year's experience in freight forwarding with a strong understanding of international logistics.
  • Minimum 5 year's experience in pharma logistics, ideally within the life sciences vertical.
  • Proven track record in key account management and new business acquisition.
  • Strong knowledge of GDP, GxP, and temperature-controlled logistics.
  • Fluent in German and English - both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
