Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Regional Procurement will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management across Asia, ensuring cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and quality performance. This role is pivotal in aligning procurement strategies with business goals, driving innovation, and mitigating risks in a dynamic semiconductor ecosystem.
Key Responsibiliti
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies for critical semiconductor materials, components, and services.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers across Asia.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery, and innovation.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to align procurement goals with product development and operational needs.
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and ramp-up activities with timely sourcing and supplier readiness.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including geopolitical, regulatory, and capacity constraints.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, trade regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Lead and mentor a regional procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability, agility, and excellence
- Drive talent development and succession planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and cost optimization.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin or other Asian languages a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
