Senior Quality Manager - Apparel
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Quality Strategy: Develop and implement regional quality strategies aligned with global standards and business objectives.
- Vendor & Factory Management: Oversee quality performance of vendors and factories across APAC, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality systems, inspection protocols, and production processes.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a regional quality team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the product life cycle, from development to post-production.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Development, Sourcing, Compliance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution of quality goals.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor KPIs, analyze quality data, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management within the apparel industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of APAC manufacturing landscapes, compliance standards, and regional regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in managing multi-country vendor networks and third-party inspection agencies.
- Strong analytically, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other APAC languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
