Job title: Senior Supply Chain Manager
Main responsibilities include:
- Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
Lead the planning and execution of supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on supply chain objectives.
- Operations Management:
Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
Monitor and manage supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Vendor and Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve their professional goals.
- Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions and delays.
Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to proactively address potential challenges.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and optimize supply chain operations.
Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
Implement and maintain supply chain management software and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the FMCG industry.
- Team leadership experience with a track record of talent retention.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
