The SH&E Manager will lead efforts to ensure a safe, compliant, and continuously improving workplace. This includes managing environmental permitting and reporting, leading safety training and emergency preparedness, investigating incidents, and collaborating with plant leadership and regulatory agencies. The role plays a key part in aligning site operations with global standards and values-making it a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned SH&E professional.

The SHE Manager responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and manage safety, health, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee permitting and environmental reporting for air, water, waste, and chemical management; ensure timely and accurate submissions to regulatory agencies.
  • Investigate safety and environmental incidents, maintain records, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve site safety performance.
  • Coordinate and deliver SH&E training programs, promote safe work practices, and communicate performance updates to all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with plant leadership, corporate teams, and regulatory bodies to align site operations with global standards and drive strategic SH&E initiatives.

The SHE Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Professional certifications such as CSP or CIH are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations and practices is essential. This includes experience with environmental permitting, compliance reporting, incident investigation, and programs like Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting is critical. The role requires familiarity with plant operations, hazard identification, equipment safety, and the ability to implement SH&E programs in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
