The Opportunity
As part of their continued growth and digital transformation, Our Client is seeking a Senior Director of Technology Procurement to lead the strategic sourcing and procurement of all technology-related categories, including cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, hardware, and IT services. This is a high-impact leadership role that will shape the future of the company's technology supply chain and vendor ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve the global technology procurement strategy, aligning with business and IT objectives.
- Manage a high-performing team responsible for sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Finance, and Legal to ensure procurement supports innovation and scalability.
- Drive supplier performance, risk mitigation, and compliance across all technology categories.
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve procurement efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on technology categories.
- Proven track record of negotiating complex, high-value contracts with global technology vendors (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, etc.).
- Deep understanding of cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT procurement.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Korean language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments (e.g., tech, e-commerce, or digital platforms) is highly desirable.
