My client is seeking an Sr. Equipment Reliability Engineer to enhance asset and process efficiency's, delivering significant improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and cost through engineering support and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams to solve complex problems, redesign equipment, and support new installations. Leadership skills are essential for leading projects, initiatives, and influencing the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Solve complex problems to achieve sustainable improvements in OEE and cost.
- Redesign equipment to meet reliability and speed goals.
- Lead root cause analysis, failure tracking, and corrective actions to enhance equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with and lead third-party engineering teams as needed.
- Prepare conceptual engineering designs and floor plans for filler/packaging equipment.
- Utilize Six Sigma and data-driven tools (FMEA, MTTR, MTBF) to address complex issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for filler/packaging changes (Process Description, Scope, Process Drawings).
- Critique proposed filler/packaging changes, submittals, and designs.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE - Filler Packaging Machine Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
- 7-10 years of experience, including plant-level experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or ability to achieve certification within 6 months of start date.
