Location: REMOTE - Must be based in Oregon, California, Arizona, Washington, or Texas
- PREFERENCE TO BE DRIVING DISTANCE TO SHASTA COUNTY, CA 2-4x A YEAR
Salary: $120-130k plus bonus potential (Non-Negotiable)
Company Profile: A consumer goods company is looking to add a Director of Supply Chain to their team. This person will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process for the e-commerce business, including logistics, distribution, purchasing/procurement, manufacturing, marketing, integration, inventory management, and customer experience. This person will lead with strategic vision and strong leadership, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and drive scalability
- Oversee global and domestic logistics and distribution operations, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of products
- Implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure inventory availability and eliminate controllable out-of-stocks and waste
- Ensure efficient production workflows, inventory levels and demand forecast to meet customer demands
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of a small Customer Experience team, with direct management responsibilities to ensure alignment with supply chain priorities and a high standard of customer service
- Develop and implement advanced inventory control measures to minimize costs and prevent shortages or excesses
- Lead long-term planning for ERP system implementation to support future supply chain automation, data accuracy, and operational efficiency
The Supply Chain Director should have the following qualifications:
- Well rounded in both Supply Chain Management from the ground up as well as strong hands-on experience and an engaging leader
- 10+ years experience within supply chain management, with 3-5 years in a senior-level role
- Proven leadership in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and risk mitigation
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards
- Demonstrated success in building and developing high-performing teams in fast-paced standards
- ERP system proficiency - ERP implementation experience preferred
This is a full time permanent position that will be REMOTE but candidates MUST be based in Oregon, California, Arizona, Washington, or Texas with a preference to be driving distance to Shasta County, CA 2-4x a year. Candidate will be expected to operate on PST hours.
