POSITION SUMMARY

We are supporting a global industrial manufacturer delivering large‑scale, engineered systems for mission‑critical facilities. This role leads all supply chain execution activities for complex, project‑based programs, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and delivery commitments are achieved.

The Supply Chain Project Manager acts as the central coordination point across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and external suppliers, supporting the Program Manager and Project Director in delivering highly customized, capital‑intensive solutions to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end‑to‑end supply chain execution for complex, engineered projects, including procurement, manufacturing coordination, logistics, and supplier performance.
  • Define sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics strategies in partnership with project leadership, including make‑versus‑buy decisions and manufacturing site selection.
  • Own procurement planning and execution against project schedules and budgets, ensuring cost control and timely material availability.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, operations, logistics, and project management teams.
  • Drive supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and ongoing performance management in collaboration with commodity and project purchasing teams.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of purchase orders, manufacturing progress, and deliveries through factory integration and site installation.
  • Proactively identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to protect project timelines and cost commitments.
  • Support project cost estimation based on engineering bills of material and prepare supply chain cost inputs for project approvals.
  • Engage and manage third‑party manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality, compliance, and delivery performance.
  • Support customer‑facing project meetings in coordination with program leadership.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project supply chain activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting project‑based manufacturing, engineered‑to‑order products, or capital equipment.
  • Strong background in procurement, supplier management, and manufacturing coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple functions and external partners.
  • Experience working with engineering teams, BOM‑driven sourcing, and cost estimation.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
