Key Responsibilities

The Vice President, Nutrition Science will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Nutrition and Food Ingredients: Leverage extensive knowledge to drive scientific innovation and progress, with a focus on advanced nutritional solutions.
  • Strategic Scientific Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive scientific affairs strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and industry trends.
  • External Partnerships: Establish and manage collaborations with external partners to enhance research and broaden the organization's influence within the sector.
  • Evidence Strategy and Research Prioritization: Lead efforts to prioritize impactful research projects and ensure the implementation of evidence-based strategies across initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as nutritional science, food science, or a related discipline.
  • Have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience, including leadership roles that have influenced scientific direction and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate expertise in building and managing external partnerships that contribute to successful outcomes.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of the nutritional and food ingredients sector, with experience in research prioritization and evidence strategy development.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is preferred, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced global context.
