DSJ Global is currently partnered with a really exciting CPG organization looking to bring on a Vice President of Marketing.
The Vice President of Marketing is a senior leadership role charged with shaping and executing the organization's overarching marketing strategy. This executive will drive brand growth and market presence across global B2B channels, with a strong preference for experience in emerging consumer packaged goods (CPG) markets. The ideal candidate is a strategic visionary with proven leadership capabilities, deep market insight, and a collaborative mindset, especially in working closely with sales leadership and divisional culinary experts to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Design and lead integrated marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility and support business growth.
- Align marketing objectives with the company's long-term strategic goals.
Team Leadership & Development
- Inspire and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and professional development of marketing personnel.
Brand Stewardship
- Strengthen and evolve the brand's identity and market positioning.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms and touchpoints.
Campaign Execution
- Lead the development and deployment of multi-channel campaigns focused on customer acquisition and retention.
- Evaluate campaign performance using key metrics and adjust strategies based on insights and feedback.
Budget Oversight
- Strategically manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI and support future growth.
- Track expenditures and report on budget performance to executive leadership.
Market Intelligence
- Leverage market research and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and guide product development.
- Partner with third-party research firms to deliver actionable data to culinary and sales teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- Extensive experience in senior marketing leadership, ideally as a VP or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in global B2B marketing, with added value from experience in CPG sectors.
- Strong expertise in brand strategy, digital marketing, and market analysis.
- This role is based on-site and is not remote.
