Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Client Development
- Design and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals and grow market share.
- Leverage existing relationships to generate new business and build long-term partnerships.
- Target high-potential industries and prospects in need of warehousing, transportation, and 3PL services.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers to influence buying decisions.
- Deliver customized logistics solutions that add value and differentiate our services.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance visibility and build connections.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.
- Provide ongoing training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Set clear goals, monitor progress, and implement strategies to drive improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and recognition.
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Ensure accurate CRM usage for pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Deliver regular performance reports and market insights to executive leadership.
- Manage budgets, approve expenditures, and allocate resources effectively.
- Align sales initiatives with operational capabilities to ensure seamless service delivery.
Industry Insight & Market Expansion
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and service offerings.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and innovations in logistics and transportation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Drive innovation in sales tactics, leveraging technology and market intelligence to strengthen our value proposition.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of successful experience in 3PL, warehousing, and transportation sales.
- Proven track record in outside sales and business development.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle and strategic selling techniques.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to adapt strategies based on market conditions.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales performance tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational levels.
