About the Opportunity
Our client is a growing logistics provider seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and further develop its nationwide operations. Reporting directly to the ownership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all operational logistics and transport activities across the network.
- Manage and develop Branch Managers and senior operational leaders.
- Drive performance, efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
- Take ownership of operational KPIs and business results.
- Support business expansion, site development, and integration projects.
- Partner closely with commercial teams on strategic customer relationships.
- Implement standardized processes and best practices across locations.
Your Profile
- Several years of senior leadership experience within logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
- Proven experience managing multiple sites, branches, or business units.
- Strong background in road freight, contract logistics, warehousing, or distribution.
- Experience with P&L responsibility and operational transformation.
- Hands-on leadership style combined with strategic thinking.
- Fluent German and strong English skills.
