Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design projects from concept through commissioning
- Design power distribution, control systems, and electrical infrastructure solutions
- Develop electrical drawings, schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Perform electrical calculations, system analysis, and equipment selection
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives
- Support testing, troubleshooting, validation, and startup activities
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and provide technical leadership throughout project execution
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience
- Experience with power distribution, controls, or industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Experience with switchgear, generators, UPS systems, or power distribution equipment
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar electrical design software
- Knowledge of PLCs, industrial controls, and communication protocols
- Familiarity with NEC and other electrical codes and standards
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
