Field Application Technician (Remote - Florida Territory)
Location: Remote - Florida
Salary: $60,000-$85,000 Base Salary + Bonus
About:
A leading manufacturer of construction chemicals and building products is seeking a Field Application Technician to support customers throughout Florida. This remote, field-based position is ideal for someone who enjoys extensive travel, working independently, and serving as a technical resource for customers. You'll travel throughout the state installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting dispensing equipment while building strong customer relationships and ensuring reliable operations.
Responsibilities:
- Travel throughout Florida supporting customer sites and equipment installations.
- Assemble, install, calibrate, and maintain dispenser systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Respond to customer service requests and emergency repair needs.
- Partner with Sales Representatives to support customer relationships and business growth.
- Train customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
- Maintain service records, inventory levels, and calibration documentation.
Qualifications
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Experience servicing industrial, manufacturing, automation, or mechanical equipment preferred.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Florida, including overnight travel.
- Valid driver's license required.
