The opportunity
The company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join its site leadership team in Woodward. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective performance of the maintenance department within a chemical manufacturing facility.
Leading a team of approximately 40 maintenance and reliability professionals, the Maintenance Manager will drive asset reliability, maintenance strategy, workforce development, turnaround execution, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting the site's vision of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance and reliability programs to maximize asset performance and minimize downtime.
- Oversee major plant turnarounds, shutdowns, and maintenance activities.
- Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and contractor performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 10+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a process manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading maintenance teams and plant turnarounds.
- Strong maintenance, reliability, and asset management knowledge.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
